About the Course :

Bioanalytical sciences, an interdisciplinary course which is an amalgamation of
various branches of science like Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry,
Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology etc. has been especially designed to fulfill the ever growing need
of the Pharmaceutical & related industries.

Objectives :
- Develop trained man power in the field of bioanalytical sciences with specific emphasis
for exploitation of ASU system of medicine as well as its need for changing trends
of modern pharmaceutical industries.
- Amalgamate traditional analytical chemical techniques with modern genomics and proteomics
technologies of manufacturing and analysis.
- Introduce the powerful tools of informatics in routine use at manufacturing, QC
and research.
- Exposure to National & International regulatory affairs with reference to drugs.
The admissions to F. Y. B. Sc. and M.Sc I are granted
on the basis of merit and as per norms laid down by the University, the reservation
policy is followed.

Eligibility Criteria :

B.Sc. with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology,
Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and have offered Chemistry as one of
the subjects till S.Y.BSc (Total 5 units of Chemistry or equivalent).
