About Course :

As India is a hub of Information Technology ,in order to create quality manpower in the context of globalization university is conducting a undergraduate and post graduate Degree course in I.T. as B.Sc I.T. and M.Sc I.T. This course provides adequate professional knowledge and skill to the students to help them to be globally competitive. Department of I.T. in Birla College has started this course in year 2002 . Dept.is having all the State of Art Infrastructure, modern equipments, laboratories, departmental Library with sufficient no of Books, periodicals, required journals etc. with qualified and experienced staff. We provide special training for personality development, Department has very good track record for conducting campus recruitment program from very first batch of almost all multinationals.
Eligibility :

  • All the admissions will be on merit (i.e percentage of aggregate marks secured for the qualifying examination). Reservation criteria shall be followed as prescribed by Government at the time of admission.
  • The candidate must have passed B.Sc. degree in Information Technology of the University of Mumbai or any recognized University with minimum 45 percent of marks.

                                         OR

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) with minimum 45 percent of marks.

                                         OR

  • B.E. degree in any branch with 45 percent marks.

Duration of the Course :
  1. The course shall be a full time course. The duration of the course shall two years. 
  2. Number of Students: A batch shall consist of not more than 25 students.
