NCC Performance
The prestigious "Vice Chancellor's Banner" for overall Best Performance in NCC
has been awarded to the College NCC Units for the Sixth time on 23rd November,
2008.

'Sheriff of Mumbai's Scholarship for Women'
Miss Reeja Nair, student of M.Com. (E-Commerce) Part-II of our College
has been selected to pursue M.A. - (Human Resource Management) programme at
University of Westminister, London, U.K. It is a full scholarship. The details
are as under:
» Air Tickets (to and from London at the beginning and end of the course).
Full fee waiver for the full time course M.A. in HRM.
» Accommodation - at the University's Halls of Residence (if outside, she will
be paid for).
» Allowance of £400 will be made available to her after enrolment in January,
2009.
» Stipend of £400 after enrolment for 12 months.

from 26th Nov to 18th Dec, 2008 at Technische Universitat Dresdan, Federal
Republic of Germany.
The fellowship includes:
i) Non-reroutable economy air tickets from a major international airport in the
country of residence to and from Dresden
ii) Free accommodation in single study bedroom
iii) Health and accident insurance
iv) Registration and tuition fees for the course
v) Allowance of EURO 550 - sufficient to cover all basic living expenses during
the course.
Victory of B.M.M. Students
Ms. Shruti S. Joshi and Mr. Vishesh K. Jaiswal (S.Y.B.M.M.) won 1st
Prize in Kirti Inter-collegiate Power Point Presentation Competition on
the topic "Basis of Matrimony - Horoscope or HIV Test" organised by Women
Development Cell, Kirti College, Dadar on 10th December, 2008.
Co-curricular and extra curricular
The College believes in promoting the all-round development of the students and
provides students platforms like : The English Literary Association, The
Marathi Vangamaya Mandal, The Hindi Sahitya Mandal, The Social Sciences
Association, The Commerce Association, The Science Association, Nature Club,
Planning Forum, The Arts Circle and Mathematics Club.
