College Facilities
· Adequate Class Rooms.
· A Seminar Hall with a capacity of 150 seats, equipped with Public Address
System,
LCD projector, etc. as Central Media facility.
· A Conference Room with a capacity of 30 seats.
· Well equipped laboratories.
· A separate Nanotechnology Research Laboratory
· A separate Biotechnology Research Laboratory.
· Central Library housed in a separate building.
Additional Facilities
In addition to above, the College has:
· Central Lawn with stage (open air theatre) in the main building with
acapacity for
approximately 1000 students.
· Access to Century Rayon Club facilities which include guest rooms, hall for
conducting Seminars, Workshops, Conferences etc. and an open air
theatre.
· Separate offices for NCC, NSS Units, UGC sponsored Gandhian Studies
Centre,etc.
Sports
The college has a rich tradition of significant achievements at the state and
National level Sports events. Students are encouraged to participate in various
sports. To nurture the students talent the college has a 400 meter track for
Atheletics and well laid out courts for Volleyball and Basket-ball. We have
prepared the ground for kabbadi, Kho-Kho and Cricket. The College has a
Bandminton Hall and Gymnasium equipped with modern instruments.
In addition to above, the College has:
· Ground for conducting most of the sports events, well equipped Gymnasium
(whichincludes Olympic standard health training equipments like
Reverse Fly,
Shoulder Press, Leg Extension, etc.) and facilities for indoor
sports and games
such as Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Wrestling, Power Lifting etc.
· Musical instruments etc. for cultural activities.
· Swimming pool facility at Century Rayon Club (on request).
Group Insurance Scheme
Group Insurance Scheme for students has been introduced from the academic year
2003-2004. The risk covered would include death, loss of limbs, total / partial
permanent disablement. Details can be made available on request.
