- Students taking up NCC/NSS/DACEE activity are awarded 10 grace marks.

- Teachers are motivated to participate in extension activities. Associate NCC Officers (ANO’s) are appointed considering their potential and interest.
- Students are appointed as Petty Officers, Cadet Captains and Sr. Under Officers (PO, CC, SUO).

- NCC units co-ordinate with Friends of Trees, Kalyan and organize activities to spread the message regarding environmental awareness, tree plantation etc.

- Blood Donation, Tree-Plantation, Yoga Course, participation in Pulse-Polio Immunization Programme, AIDS Awareness, etc. are some of the outreach programmes organized by the institution under NCC, NSS and DACEE activities.

- The activities of NCC are coordinated by NCC Directorate, Maharashtra State.

- Cdt. P. O. Rajesh Jaiswal was selected to attend the Annual Training Camp (ATC) held at Eastern Naval Command, Vishakhapatnam.
- Sr. Cdt. Cpt. Aditya Desai was selected for an international camp under Youth Exchange Programme. He visited four countries from 21st May to 25th June, 2006 on Indian Coast Guard Ship ‘Sarang’. He was selected as the best naval cadet of the country. Cdt. Cpt. Neha Gondhali was selected to represent our country at Singapore through the Youth Exchange Programme in December, 2006.

- The Birla College NCC Units bagged the prestigious Vice-Chancellor’s Banner for over-all best performance awarded by the University of Mumbai for the Fifth time in the year 2005.

- The NCC Units of Birla College lifted the over-all championship Trophy at the Annual Training Camp held at Uran, 2006 and 2007.

- The Firing trophy was bagged by Birla College in the Annual Training Camp held at Wadala and Navi Mumbai from 16th January to 24th January, 2007.

- 55 Cadets participated in the Annual Training Camp held at J.N.P.T., Uran, from 15th to 26th September, 2006. Birla Detachment won prizes in Best in Drill, Pulling, Cultural, Cross Country, Line and Flag Area and Firing.
- NCC Army and Naval Wings of Birla College bagged the overall General Championship at the Annual Training Camp in 2007.

- NCC Units of Birla College in association with Police Department help to control traffic during festivals like Ganpati Visarjan, Navratri, etc.
